So i have this simple cartesian 3d printer and i really want to keep the cost down for this one. The problem i have is that i found some parts on biqu.equipment the motherboard- a btt skr v 1.4 with wi-fi module, steppers- btt s42b, extruder- direct drive titan module and for the hot end a j-head.
My questions are about the motors and the hotend. Have you ever used either one of these? And even if you didnt what do you think about them ? Do you have any experience with the drivers on the s42b’s driver? Are 32 “subdivisions” enough microstepping to keep the noise level down?
I apreciate any imput, even if its just an educated guess. Thank you.
